A truly magnificent sale of the long-time Los Angeles interior designer. Reflecting her work at Forms + Surfaces in the Pacific Design Center as well as a long association and friendship with Jerome and Evelyn Ackerman, the home is filled with a lifetime of beautiful objects including art, crystal, high end custom made furniture, 1970s Italian furniture, custom carpets, 1980s lacquer, antique Japanese imari ceramics, sculpture, a large, early 19th century Korean Tansu cabinet, sterling silver flatware by Tuttle, jewelry including vintage Navajo sterling, Mexican silver, fine and costume pieces with names such as YSL and Ciner. There are two racks of designer clothing with names such as Missoni, Burberry, Michael Kors Collection, fine cashmere sweaters and coat, cashmere scarves, a 1950s mink cape, bags by Judith Leiber, Charles Jourdan and Ferragamo -- and all in lovely condition. Original art features pieces by Louis Fabien, Louis Peyrat, Simon Moore and Ahuva Sherman. There's art glass by Baccarat, John Paul Robinson, and Murano, small abstract bronzes, a delightful collection of mounted antique parasol handles, Waterford stemware, antique cash register, mid century barstools, Lucite waterfall coffee tables, Astrolite lamps, shelf unit and accessories, heavy silver plate serving pieces perfect for the upcoming holidays, vintage porcelain dinner services, old English teacups, and so very, very much more.
The house is utterly full, quite small, and there are security cameras throughout. Entry will be limited for everyone's safety as well as to preserve the custom surfaces throughout the home. We will move people through as quickly as possible and your patience is greatly appreciated. There's SO much here nobody will be disappointed. Parking on the street is limited and more plentiful if you're able to walk a block or so.
